Weekly Roundup

Just when I thought the sweet pea play fort couldn’t get any better, it’s been providing a bounty of cut flowers on the daily! Here’s an update on the living playhouse from last week - the vines have all grown another two feet since I filmed it. Shop the products used to make the structure here.

I’m SO excited for this movie! This is your reminder to watch Julio’s other work of genius, Los Espookys. And enjoy his book.

Multiple people I follow have been talking about the killer deal on this fun tablecloth (use code WEEKEND for 40% off). It’s too small for my outdoor table, so I ordered the napkins to pair with a contrasting tablecloth. I’m considering these tablecloth options: ditsy blue floral, French blue, and stripes. Honorable mention to this cutie that’s too small for my needs.

Did you catch my kitchen Reno regret?

Uncommon Kitchens by Sophie Dow is on the top of my book wishlist.

I bought this jumbo ric rac and really hoping I didn’t overdue it. This project might get outta hand - I’ll take you along once my giant ribbon arrives.

I’m thinking of making the change to “barefoot shoes” that have a white toe box so I’m eyeing these or these more inexpensive ones.

I’m back on my sourdough kick making bread, pizza, and English muffins every few days. This is my favorite bread recipe with a great video for beginners, though I do use a dutch oven. Also, if you’re baking with sourdough and not doing “the scrapings method” and still discarding - I highly recommend making the switch!

I fell for an Instagram ad and bought this “miracle mold gel” and I will say that it took care of a pesky and persistent part of the caulking in the kitchen sink and it really was like a miracle. 10/10 recommend.

Well this is a beautifully nostalgic account to follow.

Colonialism and chromophobia.
