My Favorite One Room Challenge Guest Participant Reveals - Spring 2018 Edition
/I've been hibernating since finishing my One Room Challenge makeover of my master bedroom and backyard space, but the event is still top of mind! The reveals of 20 featured designers and 243 guest participants went live a couple of weeks ago, but I want to keep the ORC party going.
If you recall, I was invited to join this season's One Room Challenge as a featured designer because Sophie Donelson, Editor-in-Chief of House Beautiful magazine selected two guests participants last fall to join the featured team this Spring. My blogger bestie Natasha was my fellow selected participant and we both are so grateful to be a part of the crew of 20! We have so much love for the guest participants, so I've looked through ALL of the room reveals and picked a collection of guest highlights for you to enjoy! (In no particular order)
Emily nailed this one. She's really speaking my language with that moody dark green, but every one of the other elements is so amazing. It was such a treat to visit her Pittsburgh home a couple of weeks ago and seeing this room in person was such a dreamy privilege.
I'm a sucker for vintage portraits so I love this vignette of the nightstand with the pretty lady paired with that polished nickel bed frame in Lea's bedroom. Swoon!
Nicole makes pure magic happen. The color palette has to be my favorite part, but that daybed! The crib! The lamp! The changing table! Stunner.
Leslie had me at library ladder and black fireplace insert. Hubba hubba. Also, none of what you see existed before the ORC!
Erin does it again! Get a good look at all that marble detail! She's a pro bathroom maker-overer but I'm anxiously awaiting her bedroom transformation. If it's anything like this ensuite, it will be a stunner.
Vintage bunting, pale green, and classic furniture - nice job, Becky! I'm smitten with kids room right now. Maybe it's because of this one below as well?
Daphne is one lucky little girl! Cathy knocked it out of the park again with the transformation of her little girl's room. Do you think she'll adopt me? Can you believe she found that bed for free??
Rebecca's porch is too cute. I love that it has such great historic details, plus a healthy dose of fun personality. Do I want to paint my house navy, now?
I'm salivating over Chaney's dresser. If you're able to take your eyes off of it, check out that wallpaper peeking out in the mirror, too!
Smart storage and built-ins, plus that rug and that gorgeous chair. I can picture myself watching lots of TV in Jessica's house. Also, do I like ficus trees now??
If I had to give each of my blogger buddies a design style name, Cara would be "glam". That girl has so much personality infused in her home. I am totally digging her completely unique styling product! Go check it out.
I love scallops! I'm so glad they haven't hit the trend train because I love being surprised with them every once in awhile. Amy's charming detail in natural wood is just what I love.
Sarah is always a favorite. She had me at soapstone, but when she painted classic portraits of her dogs, I fell in love. If you like this, just wait for her full kitchen reveal that has the same finishes - and more!
Talk about moody green! Kristian designed such a beautiful space with wildly tall ceilings for her very lucky son. I need to find a door to hang artwork from!
I have a love for statement dressers right now, and Melissa's is another stunner. Look at that beaut! Plus, the rest of those pretty neutral tones are favorites.
Furniture that doubles as sculpture is my favorite thing. Rubie's chair is too too too pretty. There are so many modern elements throughout the rest of the space that play so nicely off the chair, too!
While everyone listed above was a guest participant, I have to show off Natasha's space because we came on the guest-to-featured-journey together. I also adore her mom's art - that's Natasha on the mantel! Maybe I should commission her mom paint a portrait of Natasha for me to display in my house one day? That's how much I adore that gal.
If that wasn't enough inspiration for you, I also collected my favorites during the Fall 2017 ORC and the Spring 2017 ORC. You can also check out all three of my own One Room Challenge projects - the moody den, the foliage-filled office, and the master/backyard combo.
Also, there were 20 featured designers that worked magic, so check each of them out, too!
