Weekly Roundup
/It’s Friday but wasn’t last Friday, like, two days ago? Time flies, I guess!
Cathy revealed her kitchen yesterday and I’m. In. Love. Like, really in love. She and Garrett have been DIYing their kitchen and laundry room for months, so the reveal is highly anticipated. Can I just copy and paste their kitchen into my house?? She’s so kind to keep giving me credit for the shelf-under-the-cabinet-idea which I do adore, but holy cow she’s too nice and modest. Go check it out and leave a comment to tell her and Garrett how incredibly talented they are.
Did you listen to the podcast Dr. Death? You should - it’s painfully good. The producer of that show just came out with Bad Batch which is also how something in the medical field can go terribly wrong. We’re hooked.
If you’re heading out for the holiday season, be sure to check out my 25 things to do before leaving for vacation.
I wrote four blog posts this week - woah! I’m on a roll - did you keep up? Monday I shared a quick update I made in the dining room, Wednesday was the reveal of my zero-waste DIY Christmas tree, and Thursday I teamed with a bunch of blogger friends to share cookie recipes I gave you the scoop on my vegan pumpkin chocolate chip treats. If you don’t want to miss out on my blog posts, you can subscribe to get them in your email!
It’s not too late to order my tree print as wrapping paper, stationery, notebooks, art prints (and more!) in time for the holidays. I may be biased, but I think they’d make for great gifts.
Santa, will you bring me this cashmere sweater? It’s the perfect boxy yet flattering and drapey yet structured shape. Thanks, Santa.
Chris Loves Julia just announced their Homebody Awards and they want YOU to nominate your favorite bloggers/Instagrammers/internet people that are going great things in home design. Go vote now before submissions close on 12/20!
Mantel goals! But also more mantel goals.
For the past couple of months I’ve been obsessed with Meta Coleman and her interiors. They have so much personality and a perfectly curated use of color. She makes me wonder if I want to go more simple and monotone. Check her work out!
Speaking of color, on a scale of 1-10 how shocked would you be if I painted my house like this? Serious question. I love it but I’m scared to do it. Could I ever?
Happy Friday!
