I’m having to expand my wardrobe with my expanding belly and I’ve made the goal that I don’t buy anything new that I can’t use post-baby, and I’m shopping second-hand as much as possible! I’m smitten with these pants and wondering if I can sew a pair (or five pairs) myself?
Did you see the curved plaster hood Garrett built? So pretty, so doable! If you don’t want to build a curved hood, here’s my DIY for building an angled hood.
If you have an air mattress, I highly recommend getting this sealant to patch holes! Keep it in the bag for whenever there’s a puncture that doesn’t seal well with the patches. I learned my lesson and I’m glad to have the sealant backup, now.

I was reminded of how much I love the song My Life by Billy Joel so I watched the intro to the show, Bosom Buddies, (which features the song) for a chuckle at how ridiculous that intro is. And then I realized I’m super late to the game and missed when Paul Rudd and Adam Scott recreated the whole thing. It’s worth a watch if you like 80’s antics and well-produced recreation videos.
Don’t be afraid of lots of wood and wood-toned accents in design! And let’s not be afraid to add color to bathrooms!
I can’t quite explain it, but a bunch of our drinking glasses went missing. So, I ordered more of my favorite simple 20oz glasses that keep me hydrated throughout the day. If anyone has ideas as to where five drinking glasses went, I’m all ears.
I’m just about done wrapping up my February playlist and really loving it. It’s the most upbeat one I’ve posted in awhile. Here it is for ya:
