We’re due to have our house repainted and I’m deep into the research about how to safely paint a house with peeling lead paint. I promise to do a post once I figure it out and get the project done! My challenge is every painter and even the lead remediation companies don’t seem to be taking the lead abatement seriously enough. Has anyone else run into this? What lead safety features did you or your crew take for a super safe paint project?

I was in need of a new sun hat so I ordered this one. It’s simple, cute but not overstyled, and it has a strap to prevent the wind from stealing it. Summertime, here I come!
I had two clothes drying racks and they both essentially deteriorated. I found one in a neighbor’s trash pile, so I guess I should be glad I extended its life as long as I did. I upgraded to this one for more hangability (is that a word?) and for more longevity as this one shouldn’t fall apart when it hangs out in the elements.
