Weekly Roundup
/Oopsies. I took a semi-unintentional break from the blog. But I’m here! The global/national news has been hard, pregnancy hasn’t been particularly easy lately, and sometimes it’s difficult to collect myself enough to ramble on about cabinetry on the blog. But my spirits are better and I do love blogging, so I’m back from a hiatus and hope to get you up to speed on all sorts of renovation happenings!
Just when I think I shouldn’t mix so many tones of a similar color, I see this kitchen. If you dig all those blue tiles as much as I do, check out this kitchen, too.
We ordered this. Any guesses as to what it could be for?
Have you seen Alicia clean and restore tombstones? It’s a really satisfying watch, and it’s nice to take a moment to learn about the people she’s honoring (she shares a bit about their history in the caption).
The beauty of when you fix something… (be sure to tap the arrow to read the whole thing)
This whitest white paint could help fight the climate crisis.
I really dig these handpainted tiles paired with black grout for unique landscape tableaus! They’re perfectly charming and satisfying to watch their videos of the pieces as they come together. They have an Etsy shop but aren’t currently accepting custom orders.
Matilda’s trick for getting the right size lampshade. She also has the cutest shop and designs some of my favorite homes.
When you don’t BCC strangers that are all waiting on the same couch.
Our mop with an attached cleaner spray is always a hit for folks whenever I show it on Instagram. Well, it finally broke in multiple spots so I got a replacement. You know I really recommend something when I use it for 7 years and then buy it again when it breaks!
An important PSA for keeping our local birds safe!
I adore the Grocery Series by artist, Wyeth! They go on sale on May 1 (presale available now if you message her on Instagram) and I already snagged my favorite piece. I can’t wait to show it off when it arrives.
I ordered this sweater set for baby when she gets older and already can’t wait.
Here’s my April Playlist for your listening pleasure:
P.S. I’m fully vaccinated and feeling good! I’m still taking the same precautions as before (avoiding indoor gatherings, wearing a mask, distancing, etc.) due to being a high-risk pregnant person. I’m sharing to let you know so that if you, too, are still being extra cautious and feel alone, don’t feel like you’re the only one still declining invitations.
